The state has some really weird jobs that need to be filled that you wouldn't even think of so maybe have a look. Weights and measures checks things like meat scales and gas pumps are accurate, there's jobs that basically create pdf forms for whole departments, dog seller inspector was a recent job posting I saw, and a lot of seasonal and nonseasonal /out/ jobs like the person who counts fish, boat operators, park personnel, and recently they were even looking for an aircraft pilot. Plus, since Covid a lot of office type jobs allow for up to three days of remote work each week.
