>>553383It's a red oak board bow that I backed with linen cloth. Not cotton though, that's different. I got the material from a pair of women's linen pants at the goodwill store in my area. Got some good looks while rifling through the ladies' section.
Anyhow, I cut a leg off, laid some Titebond II on the back (a good coat) and layed the material down on top of the glue. I worked the glue through the linen best I could before I put another layer on top and rubbed it in.
Once it dried I trimmed the extra off with a utility knife and sanded a nice edge line to finish it. Hit it with some flat black krylon, varnished it, killed some rabbits.
