Here's a shot of my tent in the Ochoco mountains in eastern Oregon. The bones nearby added an interesting atmosphere. I was kind of annoyed at this point, first at Ochoco national forest, for allowing people to graze their cattle on the land and fence most of it, and second, at myself for making a left-hand turn to get to this spot when a car was too close behind me. I was happy to survive.

In addition to being vegetarian, I'm type 1 diabetic, so I bought no sugary snacks/drinks which other people seemed to spend a good $5/day on.
