the pack itself seems excellent to me, although I've largely used a POS assault pack before. It fits superbly, you can attach a tent or slim-ish sleeping pad beneath without worries and the side pouches fit canteen-sized bottles nicely. It could be more rigid but it is very durable. (at least I haven't noticed wear after a couple month's time of use yet) Only thing that I miss are my MOLLE loops, but this one works just fine without.
