I dont like being in a tent, they feel too confined and like to sleep under the stars, bivys are good for summer time but you need a decent tarp to make it 3 seasons. I do 4 seasons in a bivy but I dont mind the cold, wear a wool hat and know how to rig a tarp, it's really fun! Highly recommend as it makes camp super simple, set up and take down is literally seconds.
