It was on a 5' Ugly Stik for a long time but I just got so sick of that fiberglass and shitty action that I swapped it out. Next light combo I do, I'm going to try something longer. Probably closer to 7' with some fast action. It would be nice to flick 1/16oz baits and actually get some distance.
I still really want to find something that is slightly heavier than a UL and not a M but there isn't a big selection. Using lighter braid (6lb-10lb) it would be nice to have a 6'6"-7' L rod that can handle 1/8oz-1/4oz lures well but still bend a little to cast 1/16oz stuff and won't totally buckle under a 2lb largemouth.
