I had read about it leaking but mine kept me dry during some pretty bad rain storms. Maybe because the water proofing/seams are still new.
Biggest issue is with the thin floor. I can't see it lasting long.
Also the fly doesn't detach from the tent. So if it rains you're fucked when you pack it up.
Think I'm going to get a small tarp for a foot print. And another for a rain fly. Tent was <$100. With a footprint+separate rain fly, and leaving the tent's fly down it should be a nice setup.
