>>1356790>What do you guys useI take a gas stove for over nighters in fragile areas. I light a fire when I can. If you want to actually cook, rather than heat stuff up a fire is the way to go. If I am /out/ in parts of the world where it's hard to get gas I will make a beer can stove and use alcohol. Generally it's the easiest fuel to find abroad. However, the beer can stove is really too good for more than heating up water for meals. When I am hiking long distances outside of winter I go stoveless.
