When things start tasting faded, throw your tobacco into a ziplock bag or glass Mason jar (more ideal), drop a humidifying pack into it and wait a couple of days. When the humidity equalizes it should taste how you remember it.
The nice thing about those particular humifiers is that they work two ways-when the tobacco is too wet they will absorb moisture too, unlike other humidifiers. When things are REALLY dry I still like the older types for dumping larger amounts of water into the tobacco, but when it's close, in goes the two-way pack.
