Just was out on Monday and discovered my waders sprung a leak. Nothing like a cold winter day on the river to realize the seam between the boot and legs split. I always just buy cheap waders but am wondering if its worth buying a nicer pair. These last ones I had were hodgemans and they were fine but I only got about 15 months out of them. To be fair I paid 50 bucks on sale and I probably fished at least 50 days in them. Would a pair of simms last me longer? I ended up ordering a nicer pair of hodgemans again because I found a good deal but I'm wondering if I should return them for a pair of simms. I hate spending money but I also hate gear that lets me down and keeps me out of the water.
