Don't get tricked into thinking you have to buy the expensive seed bulbs, I have planted pic related from the walmart produce section with good results in the past and it only cost me $7. But also buy some different varieties if you want to, I like to try a new variety every year and then fill in the rest of the space with whatever I have left over.
