>>404720Ah, groovy. I sometimes take a traditional cast iron pan with me and I prefer to season it with lard rather than oil. Not a big fan of modern nonsticks cause of how much they need to be babied, hence my preference for stainless steel. My Normal pack, gun and clothes are altogether 23 lbs, (I like ultralite camps, and thankfully Texas has very predictable weather.), So I have weight to spare. Detachable handle is definitely appealing as I'm no stranger to a good knife nor am I against making tools after a hike in to camp. I guess I should go shop for a nice wok then.
