I've decided to try sleeping in a tent while hiking. I've bought a tent, a sleeping bag and a mat. I tried out sleeping on the ground on the mat before actually going out to try out how will i tolerate it and to be honest my quality of sleep decreased pretty bad, i get up a few times during the night and get up too early. I think i doesn't have problems with the temperatures, it's the mat which fucks up my sleep. It is 0.4"/1cm thick by the way. Will i get used to it after a few days or i have to look for something more expensive? Like inflatable/self-inflating mats.
