The best way i find is just cast and retrieve rather fast, if i feel a bite ill start to use it kinda like a jerk bait lure. the up and down actions makes it seem like it hurt it, and now is having trouble swimming.
iv been surprised how close to my kayak they would bite too, i think its because the spinner rises a bit and they think the lure might be going for a surface strike, and they like to grab it close to the surface
when fishing river, best just to vast as far to he other side as you can and let i t kinda drag the bottom with a slow retrieve off the bank.
if you have waiters, casting and lettig it hang out behind rocks gives off the look of a small fish feeding river debris
>>1766295just so easy and nice to fish. most of the time ill have a bobber bait set up, then cast spinners out to pass the time. sometimes casting near the bobber brings some action to the bait as well.
