>>219725Cont... like me and a few mates at uni, we love exploring, its in our blood.
I am doing premed-bio/med the other is an electrical engineer, one is doing finance/ law, one doing marine Biology and oceanography, and the final one is a Physicist/ Cosmologist.
I love cooking, so I mine is set up more as a kitchen and cooking station, and literally a moving ambulance, with enough equipment to treat 3-4 people for up to a week. along with additional specialist general rescue equipment. I drive an easily adaptable/customisable medium weight 4wd, commonly called "Kitchener" / "Ambo"
The E.engineer is a very strategic planner, and the most mobile of the lot, he drives a lightweight Hilux (Sparky) with a motorbike on an enclosed cabin and carries light utility items and tools and other essential light weight items. and additional Diesel and repair equipment.
Physics/cosmology mate, is a bloody talented mechanic, he drives a Patrol (Wrench) like mine, a moving mechanic. he has additional tyre tubes, wheels, you name it he likely has it, he also has a motorbike on on his cabin for additional mobility with Sparky.
My mate doing Marine Bio carries all of our research equipment, whatever ROV's (when we're out at sea) we need that Sparky and Wrench can fix, in a pretty late model Land Cruiser (Admiral) It holds our microscopes, sample holders, anti contaminants and what have you. Otherwise he's outfitted as additional mobile supply.
The Finance/ Law guy is the highly intuitive and insightful planner, meticulous in what we bring and ALWAYS has spares, his part allows us to stay about 3-4 times as long out because he is basically the main supply guy, he has a twin axel Land Cruiser (Esky) like in pic related, except its a larger and enclosed canopy. He is the heaviest since we can have about 160+kgs worth of food (not including our catches) in the fridges alone, Esky has most of the electronics, satphones, plasma TV, comp + an array of solar panels.
