>>1389517Being a Europoor the only national parks I managed to visit were Gates of the Arctic and Denali, but I can say I did not spot any azalea bushes there. Denali willows on the other hand... but even there the vegetation is generally too scarce to hamper walking to the point where it becomes hard to progress.
That said, I enjoyed the immense remoteness of Gates of the Arctic more. It's easy to avoid people in Denali, but it's hard to find people in Gates of the Arctic.
