>>1372382One time I went I fell through snow twice. I made it to the lake but it was just ice. I did it fully packed at around 25ish lbs but decided it was too cold and too icy to camp out in early May. I hiked down in darkness. Later, a friend and I made it to Red Pine in the summer. I have also hiked to White Pine and I want to check out Maybird lake. It's too bad all the tourists go directly to Lake Blanche and miss out on the lakes on the other range.
