People have been giving me more and more soda bottles. Which is great because I plan on doing more than just this test tunnel. The plants, while looking terrible to the passive observer, are doing well it seems. All new growth looks healthy, they are putting out new flowers, and older tomato fruits are still growing. I still need to trim up the plants and remove dead material that died, due to cold, prior to the second glazing of plastic, bottles, and hair dryer heat.
I put in 34 or so more black-painted 2-liter soda bottles in today. I also have been sprouting garlic and planted a little over 2 bulbs of cloves today in the tunnel.
I should have done this years ago.
