>>114514My mother had a wolf-hybrid while I was growing up. She (the dog) didn't listen to anyone, would make a point to show she could hear you then would do the opposite thing. When I was 10 I was playing Harry Potter with her (growing up she was often put on a leash and we were both thrown outside) and I had half my face mauled off.
On the plus side this prompted my parents to get me my first dog. A mutt, we think a lab/basset hound mix. Best dog ever, we go on 5K hikes every day even though he's 13 now. He has a bit of a weird shape. Pic related but not him.
Wolfdog lived to be 17 (they had her in doggy diapers after a series of mini-strokes, luckily I moved out by then). She was still spoiled, my mom blamed me for playing with her when her arthritis was acting up. She later took a chunk out of my dad's arm. No amount of training ever even got her to sit. End story time.
tl;dr Don't get a wolf mix. Get a bassador or some kind of mutt. They are nicer. One day you might want a family.
