Shit I forgot to add for that one fag trying to learn how to meme cast. What I did to help myself not loose line is I spooled up just enough line for a long cast and then a little bit more. That way I could keep building up to what would be a full length cast without having to worry about a bad birds nest and fucking your reel untill you get it sorted. You'll start to get better at getting birds nests out too if your patient and work at them. I would sit on the back of a pond for close to an hour sometimes plucking away trying to get them out and now I've gotten to the point where I rarely ever get them and if I do I can mend it in seconds. It's a pain in the ass that using one isn't as simple as flinging the rod like a spinning reel but once you get it down it's like riding a bike. You'll be able to sling baits further and a lot more accurately with less effort once you get gud
