I can tell you that with ANY weight in it whatsoever it becomes extremely uncomfortable.
I am also 186cm tall and the distance between straps and hip belt is way too short. Finns must be short as hell because my Haglofs has a good 10cm more and fits really nice. Pic related.
I think these Jaakari packs are aimed at turbomanlets; i.e buff short guys. If that's what you are, then great, it'll probably be comfier for you than it is for me.
The main draw of these Jaakari packs is the possibility to 1) attach pouches (though that would be a bit silly-looking on the S) and 2) the quality. My advice is to get something else for a daypack unless you're aforementioned turbomanlet and wait for Savotta to start making their 725/825/906/1200 models again and get one of those for multi-day trips.
