There are a lot of beautiful springs, lakes and beaches. Really anything water related is top tier if that's your thing. The keys are a real cool place to kayak and island camp and the national forests are decent. Never been to the everglades though.
The absolute lack of any distinct geological features, the entire state is flatter than kansas. No mountains, hills or even valleys. Don't even get me started on the shit weather here, its so ridiculously hot and humid that I literally only go /out/ 3 months out of the year because the rest are way too hot to do anything /out/ related without getting drenched in sweat and annihilated by literal zika carrying mosquitoes. The other thing is when you're/out/ herenfinding potable water sources is really difficult, most of the water is too swampy to drink unless you find a spring.
