My favorite part of Illinois was the area around the Mississippi. The bridge was quite narrow, to the point that trucks didn't feel comfortable passing us while on it. By the time the Englishman, the other American guy and myself were off the bridge, we had a truck with around 15 cars behind it trailing us. One tried to pass us at the beginning of the bridge, and took off its mirror on a car going in the other direction.
