We live in a province where the population is quite low compared to the others, you'll never make contact with another human for a few miles out - it's just you and nature, that's it.
There's something uplifting about being outdoors compared to our towns and cities. Everyone lives an artificial life, eating artificial food, eight hours of artificial light and false friendships and relationships. When you're out in the wilderness alone or with a buddy, there's always something to do, there's no anxiety, worrying, no sense of boredom, you're there, do what you got to do and make it to another day. It's great, addictive, actually.
