People don't realize you can fish alot faster that way too. You can get more casts because you aren't moving hands around. I'm right handed doing about everything except retrieve on my reels.
Alot of people are actually starting to go with left handed retrieves so the election is ALOT better than it was even 2-3 years ago. Most times you can find the left handers on sale too.
