>>478203the trips are mostly trekking so you are never to far away from civilization. also the route goes around sights from time to time. since i can do long term wilderness camping at my home country i have no need to do that in India or Nepal.
+ we travel in a group of ~8 people
+ we plan exit point all along the way
+ we have either hired a local guide to go with us and/or a + support 4 wheel drive on stand by
+ we have checkpoint at some night spots so if we don't call /show up we will be missed
+ sometimes people even have one of those gps beacons.
with this safety net the fact that i basically can't eat anything and need to watch my water intake is not gonna stop me. and im not a starving African child from the national geographic cover, i have more then enough body fat and muscle to burn to sustain myself over a short time frame.
so yeah on trips like that i don't plan to wave down cab on the Friendship Highway go to airport book a flight and go home, all while potentially blasting shit every 2 hours.
>Review what is making you sickand i'm very certain it was the food on a particular day that made me sick since i was the only one affected. also while the symptoms where unpleasant, after the first 1-2 days since the empty stomach had nothing left to get upset about.
with food often the choice is limited / non-existent and it's sourced locally anyway. 9 out of 10 tea or lunches with goat herders a fine and awesome but on the 10th time you shit your self and thats life. and since i need eat pretty much everyday there is not much to review.
