The pampas are grassy plains and hills, yes, but they are crisscrossed by streams and rivers, and they have plenty of small lakes, both natural and manmade. Plus they are full of these rock formations, some are ginormous like in the first pic I posted, and all of them, the formations, the rivers, the streams, all have vegetation associated.
