The MSRP thing on consoomer products is so fucking strange. It has to be for independent shops who need a higher markup and they can still cut 10% off MSRP and make local customers feel like they got a good deal. They also call it “List Price” on lots of things, but actual retail is 50%-75% of the list price. Music equipment is like that, the “List Price” on a cymbal will be like $407.00 but every major retailer sells it for $249.99.
