the real choice would be: rice, cuscus, flouver, dry beans, combined with hot souce /spices and cought/geathered stuff. this also depends on the ammout of exercise this screnario would have. do i want good food or pls don't starve food etc.
its very easy to save money without any loss of function, just pick, a cheaper axe, just a saw blade, plastic sheet or trash bags instead of a tarp. no head lamp, no carving tools, bics instead of firesteel. borrow the book from the library haha. hipster / out of fashion fugly wool clothes from the second hand store. use empty cans as hobo stove / pots.
