>>1129689It depends on the pasture and climate. Where I live, I can have up to 8 goats per acre because the pasture is amazing and there's tons of all manner of different vegetation. If the acreage had bare ground patches, isn't all that great, and there's not much seasonal rain, it won't support very many. Maybe like 2-3 goats per acre. Keep in mind that in the winter you'll need to feed them additional food. That means you need a dry place to store it. For stalls, you don't need very many really. It depends on how many you think will need to be separated for various reasons. That can be anything; one being sick, giving birth, fixing fencing, predator attacks, etc. Otherwise, they don't really need to be stalled up. Just give them a place to get in out of any really bad weather on their own. A pavilion is great for that in summer and a barn for cold winters.
