I'd get the one you have pictured. Just don't abuse the handle or leave it sitting out in the sun all it's life and the handle will last 25+ years. The small (9 inch) Fiskars/Gerber hatchets are nice too, but the steel used in the heads is harder so it's more prone to chipping and makes it more work to sharpen.
