>>1873740same shit happened to me when i was camping out alone. i was in the woods about 400ft from the edge of a farmer's field, which is large, bare hill. as it got dark and i got my fire started and started to get comfy i glanced through the trees and saw a fucking dome tent sitting right out in the open on top of the fucking hill, clearly with people inside because it was illuminated that cheap orange tent color. Now the woods are way too thick, especially from the hill, for them to see me unless I had a roaring fire (which I intended to have). After about 10 minutes quietly skulking about in the darkness trying to find a vantage point where I could see better, I realized it was the fucking moon rising behind the hill.
