OLd ones are too expensive most of the time for me to justify buying, but if you want a decent read about old school campcraft pic related is a good read. You can get reprints modern for pretty cheap, about 5 bucks or so. Granted, it doesn't have any tips relating to modern equipment, but the techniques/ general advice still holds up.
