Actually it's worse than that, the only place I do get to go in is a huge chemical factory that produces acids and fertilizers - so if the sitting doesn't get me, it's going to be some toxic gas or acid spray in the face that will.
I suppose designing processes and equipment is still better than what the biologists get here - they get to crawl (or walk) in giant industrial air ducts and tight spaces to measure the amount of mold spores or something.
