Francis Marion doesn't require a permit, the pull off is right across from a rad swamp, and there is tons of room to camp. The coordinates I provided are a great pull off, but there are a few off the road The road looks pretty rugged, but if you enter from next to Honey Hill Rec center, you'll have an easier time passing through the trail.
The Georgia WMA site requires a land use permit, I just got a temp non resident hunting pass (allows WMA land use) that spot was rad, tons of coyotes and hogs.
I'm on Week 3 of Ocala National Forest... This place fucking rules. It's like the wild west of the east haha.
