I'm throwing down a half pound of soaked grain a day, most of which gets eaten but the leftovers sprout into basically barley turf. Problem is the chickens seem to ignore the sprouts.
They get real excited whenever I throw down food so they seem hungry, but only mow the sprouts instead of scratching them up or pecking out the whole shoot, do my chickens have autism or should I try something else?
