If you want a good ultralight reel that isn't crazy expensive, get the legalis lt 1000 or 2000. it's one of the lightest without going crazy expensive, but cheap shimanos still feel great. the fx1000 is $20 and respectable. if you bump up to the sienna fg for $30 they offer a 500 size, but honestly the ONLY reason you should consider it is for the faster gear ratio. it holds very little line. I can suggest this rod in the 5ft6 model

I have caught plenty of 2lb largemouth on it. the rating says "medium light" but that's just because it's a crappie rod, the lure rating will show that it's basically an ultralight rod.
