I went and tested out my set up last night, this is what i brought with me for a single night of camping:
40L dry bag containing:
2 man tent
small pillow
change of underwear, socks and t shirt
tool kit
Cooking equipment
>jet boil
>propane cannister
>small pot
>small bowl
>cutting knife, spoon and fork
>small chopping board that i made out of some plywood i had lying around, about 6"x6"
>paper towels for clean up
>one mug
Food
>half bag of pasta (1 serving)
>a couple of tins of sardines
>bulb of garlic
>an onion
>little bag of spice mix including salt and pepper
>a lemon
>a few little things of UHT milk
>about a cup of oats in a zip lock bag for breakfast
And strapped on top of my 40L dry bag i had my sleeping bag, a roll up sleeping pad and 3 x 1.5L bottles of water.
In my small backpack i had a pair of sandals, some first aid stuff, stuff to change/fix a tire or tube, and my valuables.
Things i will do differently for next time
>get bladder for water instead of the bottles
>possibly get smaller, lighter tent but it's not a big deal
And that's it, thanks for reading my blog post, hope it helps other people get an idea of what to take for motocamping
