Pic related, “tools”, you have the cheap Chinese guy on the left, sold through a brick and mortar retailer and everything, maybe $5. Then you have a pretty good Asian tool, we’re talking ~$15. And then some of the top brands made in first world countries, about $25 from regular retailers. Hell, stick a set of Klein water pump pliers in there and you’re still under $40 with tax at full retail, and that’s a brand where you’re definitely paying for the name. Top quality name brand US made stuff from a retailer with a lifetime warranty is like 5x the price of bottom barrel Chinesium.
