>>1856655>Thinking they're "wild animals">Thinking they're not any different than a regular ape>Thinking the average Joe survives an encounter of them when there's all those "missing hikers">Thinking Bigfoots not being covered up by the government>Thinking the Government would allow footage of an intelligent 8 foot tall primate loose in their national parks and forests to get out to the public, scaring off millions in tourist dollars while simultaneously attracting every nutjobs with a gun to the areaIf only you knew what was really going on. The only way to protect Bigfoot as a wild animal is to not allow the public to know they exist. Keep them penned in to certain areas out of the way of the general public, and ensure anyone who accidentally sees a bit too much has an "accident". Bonus points for poisoning the public's perception of anyone who knows the truth as just a paranoid nutjob and the public does most of your work for you.
Really, you've never been in the woods and not seen an inexplicably fenced off area with some bullshit like "mineshafts ahead" or "Unexploded ordinance, bomb testing range"? That's how you keep most folks out. Most places won't even tell you where bald eagle nests are, and most people like those. I've seen some right in the middle of popular tourist areas that are fenced off due to "erosion" or similar made up excuses just so 50 tourists don't sit under the tree and scare off the nesting eagles.
Just like those mermaids man. Remember how there was that big discovery channel push about them being real and then all the sudden everything just disappeared. It was a cover up man
