Buy bulk to sock away in Mason jars and a tin or two as you can. Aside from some tobaccos getting better with age, between the FDA's (or equivalent euro/UK agency) nanny state horse shit and changes in consumer demographic, the honest truth is we don't know if or when the pipe tobacco industry will simply evaporate. I'm actually glad Dunhill is closing, because that will shift support to other blenders that actually like us.
So if you like the pipe, cellar away as much as you can. If nothing else you will eventually have a constant supply of aged Va/Per and what not!
