Well, the pepper plants in the polytunnel have started getting frost damage at night now. I was able to harvest 83.5lbs of peppers (Hungarian Wax, Gypsy, & King of the North). I won't be growing King of the North bell peppers again since they do not produce as early or as prolific as the Gypsy bell peppers; contrary to online info about them.
The peppers need cleaning then cut up so I can dehydrate them. Lots of work ahead this week, including more duck butchering.
The older plastic on the garlic bed, that has been used for solarizing, has all gone brittle. I expected that, but the excess heat accelerated it. Everything near it has been weeded so I can not uncover it and not worry about stray weed seeds. Hopefully, this effort will produce nearly weed free garlic next season.
