Here I have two potted lemon balm plants.
The top one is grown from seed, the bottom one is bought in a store.
The top one might be one year younger than the bottom one.
Top one is in a plastic container while bottom one is in a clay container.
They receive the same amount of water and nutrients.
They grow at pretty much the same speed.
Don't know if they have the same soil.
Yet, the bottom one turns yellow. According to some charts that is a sign of magnesium deficiency. Is that correct? If not, what's going on? If yes, how do I fix it without having to buy a special magnesium fertilizer for a single plant?
