Idk why you keep saying maintenance intervals on a 450 is insane, because that really doesn’t have much to do with displacement, and more to do with the type and purpose of the motor.
What even is a ridiculous maintenance interval to you, and what maintenance are you talking about?
I didn’t race 450s, but back when I was racing MX, the top end on my 250R had no problem lasting an entire season of racing and practice, with maybe two minor valve clearance adjustments a season.
Change the oils every month too, which is easy.
That’s a stock motor, not some heavily modified one tho, but idk why you keep taking like you have to rebuild a 450 every month just because it’s a certain displacement lol.
Im pretty sure that other guy just threw out YZ450 and it’s cost as an example of the price comparison between full on dirt bikes and E-bikes, but you’re too autistic to understand that it wasn’t meant to be a 1:1 comparison.
