>>1053364Bought one today actually... needed some swivels so naturally I ended up with a lot more. Ended up with some hooks and some soft baits and a new Snapper spoon (pink and yellow for those lazy summer trout) and a box for my Gulp!-stuff as the one I used so far leaks under pressure and also the sand eel in-line.
Got the swivels I needed too so all is good.
And actually it has surprisingly vivid action for such a straight lure I think. Nothing can compare to a Stripper. Still one of the go-to's.
And no, haven't been able to fish much lately. Been too busy. Went out 30mins last week with the missus to test my kayak and then 2hrs last thursday and then again today for a few hrs in the heat. And those have been my first trips in over 2 months I think. Only a small mackerel on land. But well, that is to be expected in this heat. Trout generally don't like it too warm you know.
Fishing from a kayak is fun though. Access to spots you normally wouldn't have. So far only paddled in the canal and harbour. Can't wait to take it out on the fjord with all those little reefs and holms just waiting to be fished...
