Honestly, I found mine in my university class about wildlife conservation and environmental studies. I'm a biology student, she's a journalism student, but we both happen to take that same elective because we're /out/doorsy folks.
It's hard to find chicks who truly enjoy the outdoors, though, 90% of them are already in long relationships. It sucks. Just gotta keep looking and do so in places that only truly outdoorsy people would hang.
