Beacons aren't just for you, your competence with them could be the difference between your riding buddies going home in the truck or in a body bag.
The Tracker 2 you posted is good. I just upgraded to one of those from a Tracker DTS. Easiest-to-use beacon out there.
The Mammut Pulse is probably the "best" available when it comes to features, especially with regards to multiple burials. They're also a lot more complicated to use - something to keep in mind should you or your friends ever be involved in an avalanche.
Take a class too. Having the gear is one thing, but you need to know how to use it effectively for it to do you any good. Search, probe, and shoveling techniques. And probably #1, terrain evaluation so you don't get caught in a slide to begin with.
