The end of the point seems to have lake trout on it feeding all day long. Lost 3 much bigger ones that all came in a single school, which sucked. All on tiny marabou crappie jigs. Finding this spot took 10 trips, the rest of which I only caught one or two trout all day. It's worth keeping at it and moving as much as you can when the fishing isn't hot.
