>>1095334The problem is it's impossible to get gasoline or bottled water or numerous other things right now. The power will def be out for some time in certain areas, and even after the store only a few gas stations and grocery stores have generators.
I bought 2 cases today and had at least 10 people try to take them off my cart. A full pallet of water was gone in about 5 minutes.
My first stop was a gas station who ordered 20 cases of 20oz bottles of water because people are stocking up on those at $2ea. The guy working said "The owner didn't leave a check, come back after 10am". I told him I don't have time to come back later, we aren't rescheduling shit because it's too busy, and we normally don't take cash but I will do it and fill out the paperwork because I don't want dude to miss out on the water. He still said no because he's retarded.
Had a Toys R' Us later in the day. They normally get small orders just to fill their coolers by the registers. They had 6cs of water on the order, even the toy store was out of single 20oz water bottles so I gave him the extra 20cs the other guy didn't have money for. It's a corporate store so a whole case can only be sold as $1.99 x 24, so he put a sign on them saying $48 per case and I bet he sold them all already.
That being said, Broward and Dade have strict building codes so my house will probably still be standing.
