Glad I took those two emergency medicine clerkships 4th year of med school and got a lot of suturing under my belt. I do have a few pics of the process and I'll post them. [btw I should clarify I misstated when I said we were 5 mi away from a vehicle. We were actually car camping the first night before the 5 mi hike the next day to our campsite. But this was truly the middle of nowhere anyway and hours from any ER or urgent care]
